Whipped Cream

This is what happens when you let Elley on the counter with a bowl full of whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I would do the same thing, only it's cuter when an 18 month old does it!! I want to know who put her up on the counter? It wasn't me, like I've said in other posts.......I just take the pictures!

The Flood

The day before yesterday we had this huge rain storm come through town. It was actually pretty cool. We saw the news earlier that morning saying that a storm was coming but we didn't know it was going to rain this much. It started to get really dark from all the clouds, the wind was picking up, the thunder was loud and the lighting was right behind. Then it started dumping!

After I took this picture, Adam decided to move his car to the driveway

This all happened in a matter of 15 minutes. Now we know what it's like to have lake side property.

A Visit from Family

Last weekend Adam's brother from Washington and his family stopped by for a visit. They were coming back from a long road trip and we were one of their last stops. We are sure glad that they stopped to visit because we miss them so much. We really didn't do much besides games, shopping and just hanging out. Elley loves having company over, especially young company so she has a buddy to play with. This is a picture of Elley and her cousin Emily playing a game called Doodle Dice. Thanks guys for a great visit....let's do it again soon!!!!

A Few Hair Styles

Here are a few shots of Elley's stylish hair. She doesn't have much which still drives me crazy. With both these hair styles Adam was the hair dresser....I would never subject my daughter to that. All I do is take the picture and post them on my blog.

She was actually running
around the house with this headband on her head....Adam just had to adjust it a little. Too bad she wasn't born in the 80's.....she would have fit in perfect!

Just me and Mom

Kerilynn (my sister) has been here a few times this summer, which has been a lot of fun. Thank goodness her husband has the job he has so she can fly for free. I like it when she comes into town so we can do fun sister things, except the fabric store......I don't like that so much.....just kidding! It's not the first place I want to go but it's not that bad!!
A few of the days she was here we got together with Jordan, our sister in law, and went swimming. Thanks Jordan for letting us hang out with you! Hopefully she can make another trip here this summer.

4th of July

I realize this is a little late but just wanted to post a few pictures of the 4th of July. We have had visitors coming and going for the past month (which we love) so I guess I have an excuse as to why I haven't been on here in awhile.

The 4th of July weekend was a fun one with lots of family activities. Jay and Leah were blessing their new baby Sophia which meant lots of family in town. A lot of Leah's family came and Adam's parents stayed with us. Adam got off work early on the 4th so we headed out to Jay and Leah's for a BBQ and then headed out to a firework show. The show started a little after 10pm and we got there at 8pm (apparently to get good seats) so Elley was not a happy camper. I do not recommend trying to entertain an 18 month old in a stadium seating situation during bedtime, but after the show started it was worth the wait. The fireworks were great and Elley had a good time.

I know, Elley is not looking...but she rarely is.

Leah's mom got all the grandkids sno cones to help with the wait

Two CUTE Girls

This is my sister in law Jordan and her daughter Macey. Our families went to a parade a few weekends ago and I took this picture while we were waiting for the parade to start. I think it's a cute, cute picture of both of them so thought I would post it.
