Our Trip to Washington

We are so lucky! We had the chance to go to Washington a few weeks ago. We love visiting Grandma and Grandpa's house and all the fun things that we get to do with them.

Grandma bought new play dishes and new play food for her grandkids to play with while we were there. Molly and Elley loved that.

The girls also helped in Grandpa and Grandma's garden. They had the best time picking carrots. And every night we ate food that came from their garden...so yummy!!!

Molly had a fun time picking flowers

We were there on a Saturday that the Huskies were playing. Dressing up the baby and good food!

Everyone wanted me to take a picture of them so they could be on my blog. (click on the picture for a bigger view)

We love going to Washington and love seeing our family. We are grateful for the wonderful family that we have. We miss Washington, but are thankful to now live in Idaho. The blessings of living in this area are poured upon us daily. I know that we came to Idaho kicking and screaming and sometimes we still whine a little but I can honestly say that I wouldn't want to live anywhere but here right now!!!

If You Give A Mouse A Cookie...

you just might end up having a CHOCOLATE PARTY!

No really, one afternoon I gave Elley some envelops and some paper to do a craft project with, and we ended up with this...

she planned a party, a chocolate party! Those envelopes turned into innovations and the wheels got a turnin' in this cute little girl's head

A chocolate party we had. Our good friend Brittney suggested a chocolate fountain and we ran with it. Elley came up with everything that was to be dipped. Yes, for no reason at all we had a party.

That girl knows how to throw a party!

I'm not gonna lie...I enjoyed the party too. Chocolate is good for the soul!

The kids also played a game. The chocolate walk game....just like a cake walk, only with chocolate candy bars!

YAY for CHOCOLATE!!!!

Addison Bug

Our little Addison Bug is now 3 months old. She has been such a joy in our family. We all LOVE her. Her cute little smile, those cute big eyes, her bald, perfectly round head, and those juicy cheeks. Oh those cheeks are sooooo kissable!

Addison Rae.....we love you!!!

Roaring Springs

We bought season passes to Roaring Springs for the end of this summer and for next summer. It has been the best investment EVER! It has already paid for itself with the amount of time we have been in the last few weeks. Sadly, Roaring Springs in now closed until next year, but we sure had fun taking advantage of the warm weather and the cool water!

Elley has proven to be our little fish. Molly is not far behind. She is not as comfortable putting her head under the water.

CAMPING...with the Balls

This camping trip happened a little over a month ago. Having 3 kids really limits the time I can spend on the computer. My blogging has taken a backseat. So much has happened in the last few months, and so many pictures have been taken. I WILL catch up!

CAMPING...with the Balls!

This was one of the funnest times I have ever had camping! Our friends, who are avid campers, invited us to go with them one weekend. Elley claims their oldest son as her boyfriend and they were just dying to have a camping trip this summer. Sit back and enjoy this post, because theres a butt load of pictures you're about to see.

Our drive up there was pretty, we almost felt like we weren't in Idaho. I guess we just need to drive a few miles out of Boise to see the beauty of this state.

Before going to the campground, we stopped at Redfish Lake. What a pretty lake it was...cold, but very pretty

We were in charge of dinner the night we got there. Adam made hamburgers and corn on the cob. It looks as though Josh took over at one point because Adam had a really cool story to tell.

This is Molly's back after sitting in one of the hot springs. Doesn't it look like neapolitan ice cream? Chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. Her chocolate tan, her vanilla skin, and her strawberry bottom from sitting in the hot water.

Addison was the worst sleeper this night. So, of course, here she is sleeping in the morning after we all got up for the day.

some lazy campers

this is Hunter sitting in the "time out" spot. Molly sat there quite a bit on our overnight stay.

our last thing to do before heading home was ice cream at the lodge

This was 2 minutes into our car ride home. The girls were pooped!

We had such a great time and hope that next summer we get to go again. We love the Balls and are so glad we got to share this fun trip with them!

I Love My Girls

I feel so blessed to be the mom of the 3 most beautiful girls ever!
