Elley loves her cousin Macey. That's why I've posted so many pictures of them together on this blog, because when they get together, they have so much fun!

Handyman Adam
This past winter it's been a pain to come in from the garage, in to the mudroom, and not have a place to take off my shoes or hang up coats. I would find myself putting coats on the backs of chairs, on the bed, on the couch and on the kitchen counters. And shoes were found all over the house. So, Adam had a great idea to build this..........

My Girls
Here are a few pictures of the girls. Molly is getting so big and Elley is getting so smart. She is picking up on things and saying things that surprise me everyday. It's fun to hear her new words. Today she wanted me to get up and help her do something. After a few pushes and pulls she looked at me and said "Mommy move NOW!" Her new favorite movie is Toy Story. She will watch that over and over. The minute she wakes up she says, "Woody Buzz." She is a fun little girl and we love her.
Molly, like I said, is getting so big. She has outgrown all of Elley's baby winter clothes. She is a pretty mellow baby, which is good for mommy. She likes her sister, who always makes her laugh. She is a good smiler......the minute she wakes up shes got a smile on her face. Thats the best part of my day!

Burn, Baby Burn
Friday night Elley was helping me cook some dinner at the stove. She does this quite a bit and I'm always careful to make sure she is safe. She knows the stove is hot and she shouldn't touch it.......or does she?
She had a stool and was watching me cook her some scrambled eggs, she even stirred. The doorbell rang. I turned off the burner, moved the eggs over, and Elley and I both went to get the door. When we came back into the kitchen I pick up the pan and was dishing the eggs onto her plate. Next thing I know she had climbed back onto the stool and stuck her little hand right on the burner which was still hot.
Immediately I started running cool water over her hand and she was screaming. After a few minutes she started to calm down. Adam was on his way home and stopped at the store to get some burn cream. By the time he got home she was holding a sippy cup of ice water to help with the burning/throbbing. What a poor girl! I don't know if any of you have ever burned you finger or hand......I have, and it HURTS. Just a few months ago I was taking something out of the oven when I burned my finger. I had to keep running it under cool water and kept ice by my side....and it still hurt.
It was hard keeping her comfortable, so we decided to take her to the ER for some pain relief. The doctors gave her some pain medications to help calm her down and help her deal with the pain. We also got a prescription for that same stuff to get us through the night and the next few days. We have to keep ointment and a sock on it. If we go out any were we keep it wrapped up so the blisters are protected and it doesn't get infected.
She is doing a lot better now. If you touch her fingers she will say "ouch" but other than that she goes about her normal day. I hope the rest of the healing process goes well and that we wont have anymore burn accidents around here.

Surprise
The first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive a gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch though...Post this same thing on your own blog and then come back and leave a comment telling me you're in. Fun, huh? Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift!

Fairy Tail Tutus
As I mentioned in Elley's birthday post she got a birthday gift that needed a post all on it's own. Our friends David and Whitney sent Elley (and Molly for when shes older) her very own tutu. The minute I opened the box Elley put on the tutu and started dancing around.
Whitney is a very talented girl! She makes and sales these tutus. She has a blog with pictures and prices. Check it out!!! www.fairytailtutus.blogspot.com
